Is NASCAR in a sinking tailspin????
Look at the signs??????
1. The leadership changed the driver point system to give race
losers a chance for the driver championship. The only sport,
if you can still call it a sport, where you don't have to win a
race and compete for the championship.
2. Teams are looking for hard to find sponsors. Teams that run 4 or
5 cars a race are dominating what is happening with the NASCAR
rules and running the single car teams out. That’s how you
eliminate the competition. Again you don't have to be a winner to
be champion in Owner point or driver points.
3. NASCAR fines the drivers, crew chiefs and owners for when they
break the rules during a race. Then show no backbone when
the big teams protest and take the fines back. The one car teams
suffer and eat the fine or penalty.
4. If NACCAR continues in the direction its headed, in 2 to 3 years
it probably filing for bankruptcy.
